Social networking is considered a core competency for any professional and is now taught in many schools’ curricula. Often the “how” or the “why” are taught, but not both. Additionally, many negative connotations often surround networking that can be better understood by changing the focus toward relationship building and reframing the purpose. This program will offer different views on the “whys,” the “hows,” and the benefits of social networking useful to leaders.

- Describe basic elements of Network.
- Science and the relationship-building mindset that can be used to enhance professional development, secure colleague connections, and benefit career advancement.
- Apply knowledge and work through cases related to social learning modalities and relationship types.
- Create a personal relationship growth plan.
